This last week at the McSpedden Library our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders finished up our November book clubs.
For the 3rd graders, I led this book club and we read Dead City by James Ponti. This is one of our Bluebonnet books this year about a young girl who discovers that she is part of a super secret society that fight Zombies in New York City. Our students loved reading this book!
For the 4th and 5th graders, they came on Friday mornings and met with our Independence student Sruthi who led them in the book The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud. I know I enjoyed seeing Sruthi lead the students in this book club and I think the kids really enjoyed this book
