The Bluebonnet Bash of 2013 is here! All students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are given the opportunity to read at least 5 of the current year Bluebonnets. If they read at least 5 and fill out the Bluebonnet Reader from online, then they are eligible to vote on their favorite Bluebonnet book and attend the Blubonnet Bash!
This year, the winning book was Postcards From Camp : A Postal Story Presented by Simms Taback.
So, we are having a camp themed Bluebonnet Bash! Students will get to hear some of the winning book read aloud, they will get to write and illustrate their own postcard from camp while gathered around a camp fire under a tent in the library!
