The Penderwicks : A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy

The Penderwicks : A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy  by Jeanne Birdsall

CALL NUMBER: F BIR

The Penderwicks is a story about four sisters who go on a vacation and meet many new people, such as two rabbits, an interesting boy, and a snobbish mother. They have many adventures, and problems which they obviously find a solution to. Even though it is a pretty wacky summer, they find it real interesting and entertaining.

My favorite part of the book was when Batty was in a closed environment with a bull! However, Jeffery saved him!

If you like a mixture of all story lines, you’ll like this book!

This book’s genre is realistic fiction. This book’s story line is action oriented, funny, thoughtful, heart-warming. This book left me feeling content, inspired. On a scale of 1-5, I give this book a 5!
